Tomato "Sibirsky Gigant"
Tomato "Siberian Giant".
Large-fruited, mid-season (115-120 days from germination to fruiting) beef tomato for growing in film and glazed greenhouses.
The plant is indeterminate, more than 2 m high. 2-3 fruits are formed in the brush. The fruits are fleshy, flat-round, unusually large - 400-800 g (some up to 1200 g!), Bright red. The pulp is tender, juicy, with a pleasant sweet taste and a strong tomato aroma.
One of the best varieties for preparing summer salads and canning pieces in its own juice. Productivity from one plant is 4-7 kg.
Grow seedlings. The pick is made in the phase of the first true leaf. After planting in the greenhouse, the plants are tied to a support. They form into one stem, removing all the "stepchildren" and lower leaves, and also pinch the growth point at the end of the growing season. Planting pattern: 40x60 cm.
The fruits are harvested as they ripen.
